Effective Date: 13 May 2026
1. Who We Are
TRT Bangkok Clinic is a small, doctor-led men’s health practice in Pattaya, Thailand, under medical supervision in compliance with Thai Medical Council standards. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) of Thailand (“PDPA”). It applies to anyone who visits our website, contacts us, books a consultation, or receives treatment.
Clinic address: 389/203 Moo 12, Nongprue, Banglamung, Chonburi 20150, Thailand
2. Privacy Contact
For questions, requests, or complaints about your personal data, contact our Clinic Administration:
- Phone / WhatsApp: +66 84 224 9559
- Postal: 389/203 Moo 12, Nongprue, Banglamung, Chonburi 20150, Thailand
Please write “Privacy Request” in your message so we can route it correctly. We aim to respond within 30 days, as required by the PDPA.
3. What We Collect
We only ask for the information we need to give you safe medical care:
- Your name, gender, date of birth, and nationality
- Passport or national ID, including a photo of the ID for identity verification
- Address and country of residence
- Phone, email, WhatsApp number, LINE ID
- Payment details (processed by our payment provider – we don’t keep your full card number)
- Basic website analytics: IP address, device, pages visited
Because we provide medical care, we also handle sensitive health data under Section 26 of the PDPA: your medical history, symptoms, blood test results, diagnoses, treatment plans, clinical or aesthetic photos, allergies, and previous medications. We process this only with your explicit consent, and we never sell sensitive data.
4. How We Use Your Data
- To consult, diagnose, and treat you — based on your consent and medical necessity
- To order and review your laboratory tests
- To prepare and ship your medication
- To process payments and issue receipts
- To verify your identity
- To send appointment reminders
- To send newsletters or health tips — only if you opt in
- To keep medical records as required by the Thai Medical Council
You can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal doesn’t affect anything we did lawfully before.
5. Who Sees Your Data
Only the people who need your data to help you see it:
- Our doctor and small clinical and administrative team, all bound by confidentiality
- Our partner laboratories in Bangkok, Pattaya, and Phuket for blood and diagnostic tests
- Licensed pharmacies that prepare and ship medication
- The payment provider that processes your card or bank transactions
- Our website host and email provider
- Thai authorities if the law requires it (for example, tax or public health reporting)
Every external partner we use is bound by an agreement to keep your data confidential.
6. Your Rights under the PDPA
You can ask us to show you your data, correct it, delete it (where the law allows), pause processing, object to certain uses, port your data, or withdraw consent. To use any of these rights, contact our Clinic Administration using the details in Section 2.
7. International Data Transfers
Your data is mostly stored in Thailand. Some tools we use — website hosting, email, cloud storage, and messaging apps like WhatsApp and LINE — run servers outside Thailand. We pick providers that meet the safeguards required by the PDPA. WhatsApp and LINE have their own privacy policies; if you prefer to keep everything inside Thailand, phone or postal mail is the better channel.
8. How Long We Keep Your Data
- Medical records: at least 10 years after your last visit, as required by the Thai Medical Council
- Identity documents: while you are our patient, plus any period the law requires
- Payment records: 5 years for Thai tax purposes
- Marketing data: until you withdraw consent
- Website analytics: up to 26 months
After that, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
9. How We Keep Your Data Safe
Paper records are kept locked in the clinic. Digital records are only accessible to authorised clinic personnel. We use reputable hosting and software providers and review their security regularly. No system is 100 % secure, but we treat your data with the same care we treat your health.
10. Cookies
Our website uses cookies that are essential for the site to work, analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how it’s used, and marketing pixels only if you give consent. You can change your cookie preferences in your browser or via the cookie banner.
11. Children
We do not knowingly treat or collect data from people under 20 without the consent of a parent or legal guardian, in line with Thai law.
12. Complaints
If you think we’ve mishandled your data, please tell our Clinic Administration first so we can fix it. You can also complain to the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC), Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, Bangkok — https://www.pdpc.or.th.
13. Changes
If we update this Policy, the new version goes on this page and the Effective Date at the top changes.
